Tasting Note
'The 2022 Meursault Poruzots 1er Cru has a delightful nose, very terroir expressive, with fine minéralité and delineation. Tightly coiled at first but opening with aeration. The palate is tensile on the entry, quite sharp in terms of acidity, but that offsets the intensity of this Meursault. Hints of lemon curd and almond, with hazelnut emerging towards the slightly honeyed finish with an underlying and countervailing bitterness. Powerful, assertive and long, it also gains finesse with aeration. Bottled under Diam 30. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.'
