Tasting Note
'Dense purple with a very dark centre. One of the more reductive noses. Superlative, rich, deep fruit on the palate, very complete and with a class that asks the question of being grand cru. Probably not, just a really fine 1er cru. Straight on the limestone here, with a brilliantly fresh finish despite the succulence. Cyprien Arlaud notes that you need to be sure to get the tannins ripe here close to the limestone.'
