Tasting Note
'The 2015 Puligny-Montrachet Les Folatières 1er Cru is showing a lot of reduction on the nose, making it dicult to read the terroir, though I suspect that will dissipate with aeration/bottle age. The palate is well balanced with a saline entry and just a little honeyed in texture, with impressive depth and a feisty, ginger- and aniseed-tinged nish that lingers in the mouth. Very fine. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting.'
