'Good deep red. Wild, sappy nose combines blueberry, pomegranate, bitter chocolate, violet and exotic spices. The sweetest and lushest of these '06s by a wide margin, but with bracing racy acidity framing and intensifying the dark fruit and floral flavors. Finishes with major, ripe tannins and a layered richness leavened by crisp minerality. Extremely promising.'
