Arlaud Morey St Denis 1er Cru Ruchots 2016 (OCC/6)
Tasting Note
'Bright, dark red with ruby tones. A bit wilder on the nose than the Blanchards, showing a meaty element to go with its raspberry and flowers. Lower-pitched in the mouth but larger-scaled and deeper than the Blanchards; a less floral style but conveys an impression of even ripeness. The yield here was held to 30 hectoliters per hectare by some hail losses but this wine nevertheless offers a rather relaxed quality. Finishes with very good length.'
