'Glistening ruby. An expansive bouquet evokes ripe black and blue fruits, potpourri and smoky bacon, along with suggestions of olive, licorice and cracked pepper. Densely packed, smoke-accented blackberry, bitter cherry and candied violet flavors show fine definition and a touch of back-end spiciness. Finishes on a resonating mineral note, with building tannins and strong tenacity.'
