'dark red. The nose is discreet, cassis fruit central to it, with rosemary, licorice. It can coax out good variety over time. The palate offers refined fruit, clear delivery, is a rather northern take for a Syrah from the south. Pure fruit is delivered carefully. The finish is fine, nice and calm. This has good potential, is a superior southern Rhône Syrah.'
