'The 2021 Caillerets from Céline Fontaine is a beautiful young wine. The bouquet is pure and transparent, wafting from the glass in a mix of pear, apple, lemon, a complex foundation of chalky minerality, spring flowers, a touch of almond and a discreet framing of vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, focused and sports superb mid-palate depth, with great mineral drive and grip, a fine girdle of acidity and a very long, very complex and seamlessly balanced finish. Great juice.'
