Francois Raveneau Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre 2016 (Case/12)
Tasting Note
'The 2016 Chablis 1er Cru Montee de Tonnerre, which was cropped at around 15 hectoliters per hectare, has a similar nose to the 2015, which is perverse considering that they are such different vintages. With time it reveals those sea cave scents, perhaps a touch of seaweed developing with time. The palate is very tensile on the entry with crisp acidity, vibrant and nervous with great precision and persistence. There is so much typicité interwoven into this Chablis that it is difficult to pull your nose away from the glass.'
