'The 2016 Chablis Grand Cru Blanchot has an elegant bouquet, very refined with expressive gunflint and wet limestone scents that prosper with aeration. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity. This is taut and edgy, quite saline and with a sappy, persistent finish. It feels very primal as you would expect, but has something up its sleeve for those with the patience and nous to cellar for several years.'
