'The 2018 Mâcon-Lilly-Lamartine Clos du Four was bottled a little later than the other cuvées. It has a crisp, ripe bouquet with waxy aromas infusing the citrus fruit. The well-balanced palate features orange peel and marmalade notes on the entry. Slightly viscous in style, with a persistent finish. I love the richness here, although I have a preference for some of the more austere examples this vintage.'
