'A ripe if still restrained nose reluctantly offers up notes of matchstick, citrus and various white orchard fruit. There is excellent size, weight and volume to the dense and powerful big-bodied flavors that possess impressive mid-palate sap, all wrapped in a mineral-driven and highly complex finish that is still sufficiently compact to suggest that this is going to require at least another 5ish years before it reaches its full maturity. Lovely stuff and is still very much on the way up.'
