'The 1982 Château Chalon has a nose closer to the 1989 Côtes du Jura, with power, nuance and pungency. It has a round and velvety palate, perfect for current drinking (I wish I had some!), with depth and length, complexity and balance. It leaves a long and dry mouthfeel. Lots of spice, pollen, celery, orange peel, mushrooms and iodine.'
