Lisini Brunello di Montalcino 1997 (OCC/12)
Tasting Note
'The ’97 Lisini is a lovely bottle of young Brunello, offering up a complex nose of red cherries, blood orange, herb tones, tobacco and a deft framing of cedary wood. On the palate the wine is medium-full, elegant and refined, with fine length and focus, a juicy core of fruit, and excellent intensity without undue weight on the finish. Impressive sense of grace and restraint in this vintage. A very polished and classy Brunello for mid-term cellaring.'
