'Healthy medium red. Reserved but nuanced aromas of red cherry, licorice, coffee and wild herbs. Dense, concentrated and sappy; fat and full for young Clos Vougeot, with dark cherry and licorice flavors sweetened by a note of coffee liqueur. Seriously thick for the vintage, finishing with substantial ripe tannins and excellent length.'
